What I like most about design is when it works on multiple levels, it catches your eye at first glance, but the more you look at it, the more it makes sense. That’s what I strive to create in every project, something that’s appealing without being superficial, where every decision has a purpose.
I’ve been designing books for over seven years, and that’s where I realized that good design doesn’t compete with the content, it reinforces it. Today, I’m in a transitional phase where I want to apply that conceptual approach to digital experience design and/or roles where I can guide teams and set directions, not just execute individual pieces.
I studied advertising and then earned a master’s degree in graphic design in Barcelona, a city that left a deep impression on me because of the way it integrates design into everyday life. Since then, traveling has become part of my creative process; every new city reminds me that design doesn’t live only on screens or in books or in brands, but also in the spaces, objects, and details that give a place its voice.
